Squarespace vs Weak vs Wix: What's the Difference?
All of these platforms enable users to design and create their own websites - so, what's the difference?
You've heard the term "drag and drop" many times in this comparison. However, this is one of the most notable differences between our Big Three - so we need to mention it again!
For starters, Wix is a complete drag-and-drop builder, which means you can use its drag-and-drop functionality to move anything anywhere. Needless to say, this gives you quite a bit of creative control. Essentially, you just select your favorite web elements (text boxes, buttons, videos, etc.) and place them wherever you want them to appear email list on your web page. You also have over 800 templates to choose from - so you're sure to find something to suit your needs!
In contrast, like Wix, Weebly also offers a range of easy-to-use templates (around 50). However, these are more structured, so drag-and-drop functionality doesn't provide full freedom. Instead, when you drag and drop elements, they snap into columns, so you have less freedom to drag and drop at will. That is, you can control the layout and spacing of the columns.
Now, let's turn our attention to Squarespace 's editors; you'll need a little more patience and confidence. It's not as intuitive as Wix or Weebly, and there aren't as many template options as Wix (over 100). That said, the quality of Squarespace's templates is unmatched - making it a bit of a quality versus quantity crash. Although drag-and-drop functionality is available, most editing requires you to add sections to the template and add website design elements from there. Then, depending on the block you select, editing options may appear that you can use to adjust the way the block wishes.

Squarespace vs Weak vs Wix: Key Features of Squarespace
Now, we have a brief look at the key differences between these competitors; let's take a closer look at all the bells and whistles on offer. First, Squarespace:
website template
Squarespace vs Weak vs Wix
As we just said, Squarespace has about 60 responsive website templates. Most of them share a few key features: space for large photos, bold fonts, and a clean and consistent design. But despite these features, the templates are varied to suit the needs of every business type and blogger.
Once you've chosen a suitable template, you can customize it to suit your needs in the Squarespace "Site Style" editor (located in the upper right corner). From here, you can modify the template's palette, fonts, styles, and layout - all without any coding knowledge.
email campaign

With Squarespace's built-in email marketing features, you can set up mailing lists, send campaigns, and track results. You can also choose to send "explosive" or "automatic" campaigns.
A "Blast" campaign consists of an email that can be sent to one or more mailing lists. These are handy for telling subscribers about one-time events, for example.
Although an "automatic" campaign is sent, you guessed it, it automatically responds to visitor actions. So, for example, when someone subscribes to your mailing list or buys a product from you, this might trigger a welcome email or order confirmation.
For either campaign type, you can use Squarespace's analytics tool, which brings us perfectly to the next feature on our list...
schedule
You can book and manage your appointments online through the Squarespace website. Squarespace makes it easy to share your available times so clients can book a time that works for both of you.
You will be notified when a new appointment is booked. Best of all, you can sync these appointments with your Google, Outlook, iCloud or Office 365 calendar.
Finally, you can also customize and automate:
Appointment confirmation
Appointment reminder
follow-up
Intake form
Needless to say, this will save you a lot of time, help you schedule appointments better, and reduce the chance of no-shows.
